WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As a Staff Developer/Lead Software Engineer in DevOps, you will play a critical role in delivering our next generation software delivery platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and DevOps practices. This role is critical in driving the adoption of advanced DevOps methodologies, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural decisions and technical strategies aligned with long-term platform goals.
Develop architecture, design, and build robust, maintainable, and scalable RESTful API solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.
Implement secure, reliable, and scalable APIs to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Integrate and exploit the latest capabilities of generative AI in a developer platform.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their applicability to our platform.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on DevOps.
Proven track record of working across cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Nice-to-have:
Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
