Job Description
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for a leading manufacturing company, you will play a key role in supporting HR activities for a site of approximately 700 employees located in the west end of Montreal. You will be responsible for bringing both strategic insight and operational support to HR initiatives in close collaboration with senior management. This role provides opportunities for growth toward more strategic and leadership responsibilities. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will have the potential to expand your role based on site needs.

Responsibilities
Strategic Development: Establish strong relationships with managers and directors to understand needs and bring strategic visibility to HR activities and their impact on the business.
Culture and Engagement: Support the development of the organizational culture, analyze employee satisfaction and engagement surveys, and design actionable plans in collaboration with local teams.
Employee Relations: Oversee day-to-day employee relations, ensure fair and effective management of HR matters, while mitigating legal risks and maintaining a thorough understanding of applicable labor laws.
Compensation and Benefits: Supervise the administration of employee benefits and compensation, aligning with industry standards.
HR Project Management: Lead HR projects, promote initiatives to leadership and staff, and ensure their successful implementation.
Communication: Promote open communication across various teams.
Operational Support: Share HR responsibilities across the site with the HR team, covering all aspects of talent management and skills development.
Qualifications
Experience: 10 to 15 years of HR experience, including 5 years in a manufacturing setting.
Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws, compensation and benefits management, and change management processes.
Leadership Experience: Ability to lead a small team and take on increasing responsibilities within the organization.
Strategic Vision and Problem Solving: Strong coaching and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Technical Skills: Experience with centralized HR platforms (such as Workday) is an asset.
Languages: Bilingual (French and English).
