Performance Measurement Specialist - Data & Insights The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada's leading Addiction and Mental Health teaching hospital. The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is recruiting a Performance Measurement Specialist to join our analytics team and help us pursue a vision of a learning hospital through data driven insights. Your primary responsibility will be to support the organization in providing vision, direction, and leadership towards the development and implementation of CAMH’s internal reporting and capacity planning frameworks as well as performance measurement strategy. The Performance Measurement Specialist will work closely with the clinical programs to develop indicators, operational reports and other data products such as simulations and ML models for the management team. You will remain current with the evolving indicator requirements and benchmarks in mental health and addictions hospitals, as well as those for applicable indicators in general hospitals and the LHIN, and ensure that CAMH is aligned with those directions. With your extensive knowledge regarding performance indicators within a health care environment, outcome measures, external benchmarks, measurement and evaluation, and reporting tools you will act as an internal consultant to CAMH programs regarding the development of performance measures and portfolio scorecards. Minimum Requirements a post-secondary degree or diploma in epidemiology, statistics, analytics, financial analysis, or related field
2 to 5 years of experience in performance management, analytics, or related area(s)
a thorough understanding of standard hospital indicators (understanding of a mental health and/or addictions environment would be an asset)
knowledge of clinical datasets as well as knowledge of performance measurement frameworks
excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills enabling you to develop strong working relationships with management and other stakeholders
demonstrated ability to challenge and motivate others in a fast-paced, dynamic inter-professional team environment and with all levels of the organization
Assets experience with leading analytics projects within an inter-professional team environment
strong analytical, methodological and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while prioritizing competing workload demands
knowledge of BI tools
Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language
