Fortinet is hiring a Senior DevOps Developer to assist the FortiCare Team (with .NET developer experience being a significant plus). This person will also need to help administer the backend as well as any configuration in ServiceNow for the CSM module.
Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth delivery of software through various test stages and into production.
Work with the development team to support changing needs in development, test, and production environments.
Monitor server status and application logs on production environments.
Take ownership where necessary to troubleshoot and resolve failures in the Dev, Test, and Production environment, and work closely with development and QA teams to drive resolution.
Plan and execute deployment on production servers after hours.
Be available for 24x7 on-call for emergencies.
As a system administrator, manage ServiceNow CSM and ITSM modules.
Skills & Requirements:
Expert in building, deploying, and troubleshooting .NET applications in IIS.
Experience in IIS management, including performance and security tuning.
Experience with .NET tools such as MS Visual Studio, MSBuild, etc.
Experience with CI tools like Jenkins.
Familiarity with source code management tools such as SVN and Git.
Expertise in Windows systems administration using scripts such as PowerShell.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience in a DBA role using SSMS.
Strong understanding of HTTPS (certificates, TLS, Ciphers, etc.).
Experience in certificate management.
Experience with VM environments.
Experience in a 24×7 production environment delivering high availability or mission-critical applications; available for on-call.
Experience with implementing and managing technology and business processes around security and change management.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Angular, ASP.NET, T-SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.
Experience with Linux, Graylog, Kafka is a good plus.
Administrator experience with ServiceNow CRM and ITSM modules.
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $90,000 - $135,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
