Job Description - SAP Development & Integration Lead (077141)
Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP professional to join the team in Canada as SAP Development & Integration Lead. The lead is responsible for designing, developing, and managing SAP Extension solutions along with SAP Integration suite components.
Location: Toronto
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the design and development of complex custom applications using SAP Extension tools and frameworks (BTP, UI5, Fiori, etc.).
Extend standard SAP functionalities using SAP Cloud Platform Extension Suite.
Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows based on business requirements.
Ensure development is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. Lead the integration efforts using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for connecting SAP with third-party systems.
Design and implement secure and scalable integrations using SAP Cloud Platform Integration and API management tools.
Ensure proper data flow and process automation across applications.
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide performance tuning.
Required Skills:
10-12 years of experience in SAP development and integration, with a minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role.
SAP certification preferred.
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
Proficiency in OData services, Idoc processing, and API management.
Experience in leading technical teams and managing SAP projects.
Ability to work across Agile development, support, and deployment landscapes.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
