As the General Manager you’ll be responsible for leading our Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and Independent Housing operations in our Mill Creek Village Community in Kelowna. In this role, you’ll be committed to achieving Baptist Housing’s mission through spiritual care and operational leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a degree in a related health field
Current registration with the BCCNM
Five years Health Care Management experience, or the equivalent of education and experience
Proven working knowledge of the Home and Community Care and Assisted Living Act, Residential Care Regulations, and Pharmacy Act.
Qualifies as the licensed operator of the campus under the Residential Care Regulation, Hospital Act and the Home and Community Care and Assisted Living Act.
The General Manager is also in a position of Christian ministry and Christian leadership within Baptist Housing. The person holding this position must sign and adhere to the Statement of Faith of Baptist Housing.
About The Role
As the General Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management, oversight, and long-term growth of all programs and activities within our community. This includes leading the accreditation process, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and organizational requirements. You provide leadership in resident care, team member management, and budgeting, while also fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. You’re accountable for maintaining clinical oversight and high-quality standards of care and operational efficiency while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Your role is essential to achieving our vision and mission while safeguarding our financial and operational integrity.

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range between $115,000 to $135,000. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
