The Rural Specialist Locum Program (RSLP) provides coverage for travel and accommodations when following program guidelines. Depending on journey length, physicians may earn up to $1,560 for travel time costs. The program also reimburses reasonable transportation and lodging expenses, as outlined in current policy terms. Qualifications:
Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
You will hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
To practice medicine here, you’ll have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
Call Schedule:
Hours of work: We want you to love life in and outside work, and we're committed to helping you achieve that perfect balance.
On call requirements: With a 1:5 on-call rotation, you'll have plenty of time to relax and reset in between.
Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income
As a general psychiatrist in Trail, you'll earn between $400,000-$600,000, thanks to the fee-for-service model, sessional contracts, and MOCAP level 2.
