Your Opportunity
We are looking for an organized and highly efficient individual, responsible for integrating digital tools and optimizing project processes resulting in increased efficiency, collaboration, quality, and risk mitigation. Reporting to our Digital Practice & Innovation Leader, the Digital Delivery Manager will work with project leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements for Digital Delivery and identify resources within our Energy & Resources (E&R) Business Operating Unit to assist with quick setups of those software and tools.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight of digital practice personnel in the Energy & Resources Digital Delivery community.
Manage the hours and delegation to setup digital delivery.
Assist with cost optimization at the pursuit or project win phase.
Create innovative project delivery activities that increase efficiency and improve quality.
Promote standardization of processes throughout design project delivery.
Core focus to provide consistency of product and process in support of E&R digital delivery.
Works with IT and Practice Technology Services Group to orchestrate and manage software; purchase, implementation, release, and rollout of BIM/CAD products.
Works with IT and Practice Technology Services Group to develop training and messaging in support of managed design, drafting, and modeling software.
Plans and implements additions, deletions, and major modifications to supporting infrastructure (specifically regarding BIM and CAD technologies); ProjectWise, Revit Server, OneDrive, etc.
Stay informed and updated on how to apply emerging technologies to our projects and educate project leaders on the benefits of the implementation.
Responsible for BIM/CAD standards development, implementation, training, and enforcement.
Oversee automation and customization of BIM/CAD productivity software and associated content: templates, families, block libraries, etc. for quality control and consistency.
Create written technology evaluations and budgets for future technology adoption that aligns with corporate goals.
Report on company’s current BIM/CAD state with regards to implementation, productivity, etc.
Provide annual goals and quality reviews of Digital Delivery Support staff to improve the quality of the team.
Active involvement in the greater BIM/CAD community.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Knowledge of the unique technology needs of the Energy & Resources industry.
Knowledge of Energy & Resources project cycles including Engineering and Design, quality assurance, supply chain, and project management.
Demonstrated ability to hire, train, actively manage, and develop team members.
Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within all levels of an organization.
Expert level Microsoft product user; Office365 Suite. PowerBI and Automate skills would be ideal.
Knowledge of Autodesk, Bentley and ESRI products.
Knowledge of other common Energy & Mining, Minerals & Metals Engineering and Project Vendors; Bluebeam, Deswik, Abaqus, Ansys, Aspentechnology would be beneficial.
Education and Experience
4-year degree or equivalent Project Management or Energy & Resources Project Coordination experience.
3 years Digital Delivery support management experience required.
