Description
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Dust, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums and clean assigned areas
• Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays
• Stocks and maintains housekeeping store rooms
• Transports trash and dirty linens to designated areas
• Takes care of company laundry and distribution
• Sweeps pathways, parking lots and other areas as requested
• Restocks paper supplies, chemical supplies in bottles, and maintains washroom supplies
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies as needed
• Assists in minor maintenance in public areas and reports problems requiring further attention to supervisors
• Routinely inspects work areas, identifying potential problems or repairs
• Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Team oriented.
• Excellent guest service skills

Education and Experience:

• Must have a friendly, outgoing and congenial personality.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

• At least 4-6 months previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Work is normally performed in a typical casino work environment
• Noise level is moderate to high
• Moderate to high exposure to cigarette smoke
• Moderate physical effort required
• Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, reach and stretch for extended periods of time. Ability to perform light lifting, up to 50 lbs.
