QUALIFICATIONS: - Acceptable attendance required.
- Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.
- Forklift/Reach truck experience required.
- Ability to perform basic accounting and report writing.
- One year of production or warehouse experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP warehouse and production transactions strongly preferred.
- Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work on a raised safety platform at heights of 20-30 feet.
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office operations with proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the supervision of the Inventory Manager, performs regularly scheduled cycle counts of finished goods, raw, packaging and in-process materials. Approximately 50% of the incumbent's time is spent counting and moving materials in the production and warehouse areas. Audits Gretna Process Orders using SAP reports to assure variance targets are met or resolved on a timely basis. Compares physical inventory counts with inventory levels showing in SAP. Reconciles any discrepancies and reports to the appropriate parties. Monitors operations and transaction activities for process adherence to help ensure inventory accuracy. Participates in training and process improvement activities with production and warehouse teams.
