Read on to learn more!Job SummaryThe Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesCounts and tracks physical inventoryMaintains accurate records of counts and frequency of countsCommunicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to managementRecords inventory counts in the accounting systemInvestigates any inventory discrepancies and document any correctionsEnsures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controlsPrepares various reports and correspondence as requiredPerforms other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh school diplomaMinimum one year of experience in inventory control or related areaWorking knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company proceduresWorking knowledge of Excel, Word and OutlookBasic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and speciesPreferred understanding of company policies, practices and proceduresMust be at least 18 years of ageThe Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
