Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control proceduresReview patient's health history, make chart entries under the direction of the operator and assure completion of forms and signaturesFamiliarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion as neededAssist Dental Hygienist as needed; taking X-rays, getting patient seated and prepped for prophylaxis, setting up/cleaning treatment roomStock operatory and maintain clinical supply inventory. Communicate with office staff and vendors to insure prompt receipt of all ordersReview daily schedule and set up appropriate trays and instrumentsAssist with front office procedures as requestedMaintains patient confidence and protects patient and company by keeping information confidential Conduct preventative maintenance on dental equipmentComplies with all company policies and proceduresDental Assistant Benefits:$19.00 - $25.00/hour, depending on experience.
