**Job Title: Technician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare outbound shipments by palletizing materials and using a forklift to transport them outside the facility for loading onto trucks. Additionally, you will be required to document shipments using a computer system and lift up to 50 lbs.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare outbound shipments by palletizing materials.

+ Use a forklift to transport materials outside the facility for loading onto trucks.

+ Document shipments using a computer system.

+ Work as part of the packaging team to prepare customer orders.

+ Fill and seal 50# bags, bulk sacks, and drums.

+ Apply labeling to orders.

+ Shrink wrap orders.

+ Move products around the packing floor and to the warehouse using a forklift.

+ Sweep and clean the production floor area.

+ Fill out packaging log sheets and paperwork.

+ Participate in all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities, monthly plant audits, accident investigations, and Hazard IDs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Prior job experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Prior forklift operational experience.

+ Computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.

+ Ability to safely operate plant forklifts in support of production activities.
