JOB TITLE : Protestant Religious Education CoordinatorLOCATION : Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs , CO 80914DUTIES : Oversee and monitor the entire Protestant RE Program by coordinating Sunday Children's programs.Recruit, train and equip volunteers for Religious Education programs (i.e., teachers,song leader, craft coordinator, snack coordinator, etc.) as outlined within the ministry plan.Act as the point of contact for all religious education administrative requirements.Maintain all files with pertinent information for religious education activities.Coordinate all facility and funds requests required for Protestant RE programs and events.Ensure a suitable substitute with at least equal qualifications is provided in the case of absence during scheduled programs or events.EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION : Have a minimum of high school diploma, however a bachelor's degree in relevant concentration is preferred.Have awareness of a wide variety of faith expressions within the Protestant community.Be proficient at working with calendar programs, MS Word, PowerPoint, and show ability to work with other software programs as necessary.Be professional, positive, spiritually sensitive, and able to work with chapel staff members, military personnel, lay leaders, and chapel volunteers.
