CSI Aerospace, Inc., a very successful, fast-paced subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE traded company, is seeking a Production Expeditor. The Production Expeditor will be responsible for ensuring that production schedules and deadlines are met by overseeing the flow of materials, components, inventory and paperwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Reviews daily production workflow capabilities and availability of resources
- Communicates with Customer Service and Production Management potential and actual production schedule delays
- Distributes inventory and loads parts for production Team Members to ensure maximum productivity
- Coordinates with Production Supervisors to monitor daily production goals
- Completes reports of key metrics and expected delivery dates
- Collaborates with Production Supervisors, Customer Service and Inventory to expedite the movement of parts.
- All other duties requested by management.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience: - 2 -4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- 2-4 years of experience working with an ERP system, Quantum experience a plus
- 1-3 years previous production control experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities: - Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills needed.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
