When you join our engineering team, your role will be to develop and manage electrical projects: from identifying needs to implementation. Not only that, but you'll also be able to put your technical knowledge to good use, as your role will include a large automation and programming component.
Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, your main duties will be to:
- Take charge of, supervise and manage all stages of projects, from design to commissioning
- Plan projects and manpower (planning was previously done by another position holder)
- Act as a technical leader and establish project needs and costs during committees with requestors
- Manage internal and external labor on projects Maintain building and machinery
- Support the rest of the maintenance team, production and ITDesign and draw electrical plans using software such as AutoCAD Electrical
- Design electrical controls
- Maintain Guide Ti maintenance management software
- Program programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI)
- Manipulate and analyze data using SQL computer language
- Analyze safety risks, carry out trials, investigate the cause of electrical faults and provide occupational health and safety support
