Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bakersfield is a freestanding 86-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. We are seeking a PM&R inpatient physiatrist. Healthy caseload of 15-20 patients and potential Program Directorship role for a physician desiring a leadership track. PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS

We are seeking a full time inpatient PM&R physician to build a practice to serve the Bakersfield community. As an independent private practice physician, you will enjoy daily flexibility and a self-directed workflow. There are opportunities for consulting and no noncompete for other clinical work. For physicians desiring a leadership track, there is an optional Program Directorship with a stipend paid monthly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO with CA medical licensure or eligible to obtain CA license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Hospital-based physiatry experienced preferred but not required
• New Grads encouraged to apply
