Your function
I am currently recruiting a Quality Specialist for one of my clients, an agri-food company located in Longueuil.
12-month temporary position - 40 hours per week
Reporting to the Corporate Quality Manager, your main missions will include :
- Ensuring compliance with quality requirements (SQF, HACCP) for all company divisions, for quality control and assurance, including internal and external audits and operational procedures, in accordance with CFIA laws and regulations.
To do this, you must:
- Act as a referent for quality teams in the plant, supporting work according to defined requirements. Mobilize internal and external resources to achieve objectives.
- Develop practical solutions, such as tools and reports, to tackle complex problems.
- Predict potential changes and challenges, communicating solutions to management and plants.
- Perform detailed analyses in various software packages, regularly producing technical reports for presentation.
- Represents the department in various projects and may assume project leadership responsibilities.

Your profile
-At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in the food industry
-Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology or any other relevant field
-Bilingual French - English, an asset
-Knowledge of CFIA legislation and regulations, HACCP, SQF, GFSI standards
-Knowledge of audit systems, allergens and microbiology
-Project management skills, leadership and investigative spirit
-Mastery of Office Suite and quality assurance tools
70k - 90k according to profile and experience - full-time position - temporary 12 months with possibility of hiring
