Key Responsibilities: Research, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies.
Validate these concepts in the Innovation laboratory with actual mockups.
Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace Design Practices and requirements.
Participate in product innovation and support upholstery and seats mechanical system development.
Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers on a daily basis.
Coordinate all stakeholders, gain commitment and lead for results.
Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs.
Support Request For Change (RFC). Present RFC at change board and communicate with all stakeholders of a production, configuration, compliance and/or other problem and request actions to change documents, drawings, specifications, nomenclature etc.
Be in direct contact with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
Participate in Design reviews and have a good understanding and interpretation of regulatory and industry requirements.
How to thrive in this role? You are a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a DEC in aeronautics or mechanics with up to a maximum of five (5) years of experience.
You have experience working with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Alias, Microsoft Excel and Word.
You understand product structure and relational modeling.
You are well organized and project-oriented.
You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
You have good communication skills including good English writing skills, and good English and French verbal skills.
