Registered Nurse - Women's Services What We Are Looking For Navarro Regional Hospital’s Women’s Services department is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our thriving department at our 162 bed acute care hospital. The unit consist of 5 Labor rooms and 9 Post-partum doing an average of 50 deliveries per month. What You Will Do Job Duties: Assist mothers with breastfeeding by providing one-on-one bedside consultation Provides education for patients and staff on breastfeeding Assist with recovery of c-section patients Administer IV medication along with anesthesia and pain management medication Implements safety/infection control measures Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Texas Nursing License BLS & ACLS upon hire CLC or IBCLC upon hire Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing One (1) year of experience highly preferred NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate and/or Advanced certification Working Hours: 7:00a – 7:00p Self-scheduling unit Weekends and Holidays required Who We Are Navarro Regional Hospital is your community healthcare provider, a 162-bed licensed acute care facility with inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic imaging, emergency department, medical and surgical care.
