Position Summary:

A Receiver is responsible for the receipt, storage and organization of all food items for the Back of House and FOH team.

Reports to the General manager and Executive Chef .

This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $18.

This position will remain open until September 30, 2024

Responsibilities:
  • Processing all product deliveries.
  • Process deliveries in a timely manner with full attention to detail and abiding by receiving and department of health procedures.
  • Ensure receiving supplies are filled and maintained.
  • Maintain backstock area and cooler.
  • Keep receiving area/hallways secure while on duty.
  • Break down and organize designated loads.
  • Ensure all refrigerated items are stocked or properly stored.
  • Distribute received merchandise or notify team of arrival.
  • Establish and maintain merchandise return/transfer area.
  • Maintain receiving area in a neat, clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Document transfers and waste.
  • Know and practice proper lifting techniques.
  • Effectively communicate with Team Members regarding receiving and department operations.
  • Develop working knowledge of all department vendors.
  • Verification of each delivery and variances noted on invoice and to Team Leader.
Qualifications:
  • Professional work ethic
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Effective communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when required
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively solve issues
  • Be a team player.
  • Ability to meet physical demands including extended periods of standing and walking throughout the day; able to lift and carry 30+ pounds, push/ pull up to 75+ pounds.
