The Vice President and Director of Athletics will work closely with the client to develop and implement a strategic vision for the University's athletic and recreation program. This includes overseeing budgets, personnel, fundraising, marketing, and sports facilities to ensure the program's success. The individual in this role will also be responsible for negotiating media contracts, generating revenue, and ensuring compliance with all University, conference, NCAA, and State rules and regulations.The Vice President and Director of Athletics must have strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a deep understanding of intercollegiate athletics. They should have experience in managing budgets, fundraising, and marketing within a collegiate athletic program. Additionally, the individual must have a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, as well as the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with coaches, staff, student-athletes, and external stakeholders.
