Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team. As a QC Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: QC Inspector
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $20.00- $24.00 per hour Depending on Experience
What's the Job?

• Perform electro/mechanical inspection at all levels of parts and raw materials (as determined by the Engineering and Materials Department) to ensure quality standards are met. Inclusive of Receiving, In-Process and Final Inspections.
• Identify & document non-conformities & assist with creating CAPA plans with suppliers
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, test results & non-conformance reports
• Operate Measuring tools.
• Verify quality of parts related to all inspection levels

What's Needed?

• Working knowledge of ASME & ISO standards
• ASQ certified quality inspector
• Experience with using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, height gauges & other inspection tools
• A good working knowledge of GD&T with an ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Computer proficiency - specifically experience working with Microsoft Excel & Word
