**Expected salary range of $82,800 to $92,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
Independently inspect, evaluate and issue reports including determination as to the acceptability and safety of materials received for use in a nuclear power plant. Responsible for performing receipt inspections in accordance with site processes and procedures and making recommendations for actions.
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Oversees process of and ensures that correct receipt inspection is performed for each type of material received at the plant. Manages thorough and timely completion of review. Assesses engineering requirements, tests and analyzes materials received for use in a nuclear plant to determine whether they are of acceptable quality for intended use. Properly documents findings in written analytical report and maintains records.
+ Performs receipt inspection in compliance with site processes and procedures; reject materials or parts if determined to be substandard or otherwise non-compliant with applicable regulations. Determines if substitute materials or parts have the critical parts characteristics' necessary for approval for intended use.
+ Maintains receipt inspector Level II certification.
+ Identifies need for and conducts audits and assessments of any area of the Supply Organization to assure Quality Assurance program compliance and procedural adherence.
+ Analyzes deficiencies identified during receipt inspections to ensure they are entered into the Corrective Action Process (CAP) process. May recommend solutions.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum six years of related experience OR a bachelor's degree plus minimum two years of related experience.
+ Quality control / receipt inspector Level II certification, OR must pass the company-provided training to obtain the Level II certification within 60 days of employment in position.
+ Familiar with Work Control, Planning and Maintenance functions as it relates to Supply Operations
