Our expectations
Reporting to the Demand & Allocation Manager, The Supply Chain Analyst mandate is to build, lead and execute fulfillment strategies through analytical modeling for Rona division that will ensure the right inventory at the right place in the right time to support 100% in stock and annual growth.
Your role
Define, maintain and drive replenishment parameters in line with the corporate inventory management strategy while supporting merchandising initiatives for owned categories
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment against inventory policy and budget
Analyze and monitor performance indicators (in stock, inventory turns, non productive inventory, inventory projection, SKU classification, SKU lifecycle, etc.)
Prepare and publish Weekly KPIs in line with division identifying root cause issues and presenting actions plans.
Lead vendor meetings - present metrics in a format that drives conversations around Rona inventory and gaps
Excess inventory depletion planning in line with quarterly targets and present progress and new initiatives during vendor reviews
Collaborate with stores and district managers to capture feedback and identify opportunities for inventory optimization
Accountable for building out ad-hoc reports and requesting training on appropriate tools
Manage weekly calendar of activities (SC calendar) - inputs/outputs/handoffs
The qualifications we are looking for
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management or a related field
1 to 4 years’ related experience, preferably in a supply chain role
Supply Chain Certifications with Retail background an asset
Broad knowledge of supply chain process fundamentals and metrics including: demand planning, inventory planning, distribution
Proactive leader with a strong and curious analytical skillset to identify patterns, exceptions and identify outliers
Desire and capacity to learn new systems, processes and guide others through data driven recommendations
Takes pride in quality of work and comfortable operating in the detail while being able to understand key overall metrics
Strong communication skills with the ability to bring cross functional teams together to drive the right conversations
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, showcases a sense of urgency and has a growth mindset
Proficient at summarizing key issues (PPT)
Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and databases
Good knowledge of ERP system and BI tools; JDA an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
