Springfield Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Springfield, VT. The hospital is celebrating its 105th anniversary in 2019, and offers 24-hour emergency care, general surgery services, a hospitalist program, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including an Adult Day Program, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation services. Medical specialties include ear, nose and throat; orthopaedics and sports medicine; cosmetic & reconstructive surgery, urology and psychiatry. Specialty clinics for cardiology, medical oncology, and infusion services are provided in collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Cheshire Hospital. These services are located on the Springfield Hospital campus and make it convenient for patients to receive the specialty care they need, close to home. A comprehensive program of inpatient psychiatric services is offered at The Windham Center, a ten-bed inpatient facility, located in Bellows Falls, VT.
