    Job Details
  • Winchester Medical Center is seeking a qualified RN for the Behavioral Health specialty.
  • The position involves a 13-week contract with the role being centered around the EmPATH department/cost center 206180.
  • The RN will be responsible for duties such as arriving and intake patients to the EmPATH space, administering medications as ordered, de-escalation of patients in crisis, and completing safety plans and discharge instructions.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:45a to 7:15p).
  • Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
    Schedule Information
  • 12-hour day shifts (6:45a to 7:15p).
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
  • Call Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 8.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:8.
  • Monthly Dept Volume: Predicting 166 patients per month.
  • EMR: Epic.
  • Scope of Role includes arrival and intake patients to the EmPATH space, completion of admission process, administration of medications, de-escalation of patients in mental health crisis, and reviewing discharge instructions with patients.
    Additional Details
  • Dress Code: Scrub Color to be determined onsite.
