SUMMARY OF JOB:
Working under the direction of supervisor and/or nurse manager, directs and takes responsibility for total care of residents on a team. Responsible for implementing interventions designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care. All work is performed within a resident centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents and their families. Functions as a role model for staff.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN license
Previous experience preferred
Demonstrates position communication skills
Ability to relate to staff in a professional manner
Must be flexible with scheduling
Computer experience preferred
Demonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs
Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred.
Must be able to interact well with physicians and other health care professionals
Able to exercise sound professional judgment
Able to respond to emergency
