Job Summary
This position is for in-person services for instructing physically restricted/mentally challenged students in a program of adaptive physical education. Position positively motivates the student to develop appropriate skills, attitudes, and knowledge; utilizes a variety of instructional techniques appropriate to students' abilities; and creates a safe and orderly learning environment. (Salary based on working 20% of 185 workdays; masters/doctoral stipends available)
This position is part of the Certificated Teacher Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience and education on the Certificated Teacher Employee Salary schedule.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 2023-24 AND 2024-25 SALARY SCHEDULES ARE PENDING.
The anticipated start date is August 12, 2024.

MCUSD is seeking an itinerant Adapted Physical Education Teacher in order to expand the physical education program and instructional services for students who are physically restricted and/or mentally challenged. This position will provide services one (1) day a week.
The Mariposa County Unified School District is located in California's beautiful Central Foothills near Yosemite National Park.
