Responsibilities
n
Hiring immediately for second shift, which may include Saturdays and Sundays. Bilingual skills preferred, but not required. This is a full-time customer service position at Roto-Rooter’s Chicago area Call Center. We are a 24-hour service provider, so our call center stays busy overnight.
n
n - Be the first point of contact with our customers.
n - Obtain key information from the customer while expressing empathy, a sense of urgency and confidence that they called the right company and we will solve their plumbing problems.
n - Data entry, including customer contact information and relevant details concerning their plumbing problems.
n - Schedule a service call based on customer’s availability and convenience.
n - Discuss additional services and products we have available that may be helpful.
n - Be a trusted informational resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements
n
n - Bilingual skills are a plus!
n - Strong customer service focus
n - AS400 knowledge is preferred
n - Prior call center experience is helpful
n - Able to work in a fast-paced environment
n - Excellent oral and written communication skills
n - A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
n - Self-starter who is organized and thorough with attention to detail
