Job Description 6am to 3pm -5pm depending on loads.
$18 an hour/$15 per drop. Our local trucks are all 10-speed and our Oklahoma trucks are all automatics. Some loads do require tarps for locals.
Local trucks - Haul mostly structural steel (beams, bars, rebar...etc)
Oklahoma - Steel up and scrap cars coming back. Tarping season starts mid October.
TA Services, a full service North American Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing company, is searching for a local driver in the Midlothian TX area.
Driving Responsibilities - Transporting finished goods and / or raw materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light preventative maintenance as needed
- Comply with all commercial motor vehicle regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Class A CDL required
Qualifications - Class a CDL required
- At least 23 years old.
- 1 year of driving experience with a Class A commercial vehicle driver's license.
- No DWI or DUI listed on MVR in the past three (3) years.
- No more than one "at-fault" accident on MVR within the past three (3) years.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen as established by the U.S. Department of Transportation in 49 CFR Parts 391 and 40.
