Performs a variety of patient care and surgical scrub duties within the obstetric department including organization of the environment, maintenance of equipment, assisting with delivery room procedures, and basic tasks necessary to provide for care, comfort, and safety of the patients. Performs 1:1 duties on all units and performs PCA duties on other units as needed.
Education
Trade School : Surgical Technician Program (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
1 Year experience as a Labor and Delivery Technician (Preferred)
1 Year experience in a patient care role in an acute care setting (Preferred)
1 Year experience in an OR Surgical Scrub role (Preferred)
