Responsibilities for this Certified Nursing Assistant opportunity include, but are not limited to:nnAssist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, dental care, bladder functions, preparations for medical tests and exams, ear and eye care and positioning in and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, etc.nnProvide nursing functions as directed by supervisor including daily perennial care, catheter care, turn residents in bed, all bathing, measure and record temperature, pulse and respiration, weigh and measure residents, perform restorative and rehabilitative procedure and observe and report presence of skin breakdowns; review care plans daily, report changes in resident conditions to supervisor; and, record all necessary charting entries and report all accidents and incidents.nnPrepare patients for meals and snacks; identify food arrangements and assist in feeding residents as need; record food and fluid intake; and perform after-meal patients care as needed.nnMaintain resident confidentiality; treat patients with kindness, dignity, and respect; Promptly report all patient complaints, accidents, and incidents to the supervisor.nnAssist as directed in proper admission, transfer, and discharge of residents; inventory resident possessions and report food articles and medications found in patient rooms; and, report defective equipment to administrationnnUnderstand and use Universal Precautions and follow established safety rules; ensure cleanliness of assigned patients’ rooms; properly maintain and record patient restraints; and, promptly report all violations of safety and sanitation rules to the supervisor.nnAttend and participate in orientation, training, educational activities and staffing meetings as requested.nnParticipate in training and education of staff as requested.nnPerforms other duties as requested.nnJOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CNA CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT:nnCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or license eligible in the state of employmentnnMust be eligible to work in the United States.nnCareerStaff Unlimited, LLC ("CareerStaff"), an affiliate of ShiftMed, is a renowned industry leader in healthcare staffing, managed services, and workforce solutions.
