This temporary position is located in Black Mountain - Buncombe County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 932 Old Highway 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
The duties of this position will be to assist the Nursing department in ensuring resident and guests needs are met. Position is required to complete paid feeing assistant class and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training. Duties include: cleaning resident's rooms/closets/drawers, washing wheelchairs, checking shower/whirlpool rooms and kitchen areas for cleanliness and expired products, assist with serving resident meals, answer call bells to determine resident needs, distribute linens, make beds, pass fluids and nourishments to residents, transport residents to meals and activities. The person in this position will be required to complete a paid feeding assistant class and Crisis Prevention Intervention training, reporting to nursing department etc.
