We are hiring immediately and offering the following:nnShift: 1st Shift Full-time - 5am start timennSchedule: Tuesday-Friday (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off)nnLocal Deliveries - Home Every NightnnPrior touch freight experience is requirednnPay: Starting at $30 per hour. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.nnPosition Summary:nnResponsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.nnPosition Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:nnSafely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehiclennUse Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand trucknnManeuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstaclesnnUnload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environmentsnnProvide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnelnnComplete delivery and pick up paperworknnPick up returned product as requirednnCollect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.nnComplete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehiclennComplete company training and certifications as requirednnEffectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workersnnOther projects or duties as assignednnRequired Skills and Experience:nnMust be at least 21 years of agennMust possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)nnMust have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the militarynnMust have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirementsnnMust be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basisnnMust be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug testnnPreferred Skills and Experience:nnHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)nnCustomer service experiencennExperience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environmentnnStocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experiencennFoodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experiencennPhysical Demands and Work Environment:nnReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
