Truck Driver - Home Daily - CDL AnnRequisition Id: 375843nnBusiness Unit: LTLnnLocation:nnPhoenix, AZ, US, 85043nnWhat you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPOnnMinimum qualifications:nnBe at least 21 years of agennValid Class A commercial driver's licensennSafe driving record and historynnCurrently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employmentnnPass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 yearsnnHold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physicalnnAvailable to work a flexible schedule that’s up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shiftsnnPreferred qualifications:nnForklift experiencennAbout the Truck Driver JobnnPay, benefits and more:nnHome dailynnExperienced drivers can start at $33.89/hournn$5,000 in bonuses availablennFull health insurance benefits on day onennLife and disability insurancennEarn up to 13 days PTO over your first yearnn9 paid company holidaysnn401(k) option with company matchnnEducation assistancennThis is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt positionnnWhat you’ll do on a typical day:nnSafely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triplesnnProvide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leadsnnLoad and unload freightnnTruck Drivers are required to:nnLift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.nnSafely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailernnSit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forkliftnnWalk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)nnReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelnnOperate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materialsnnDon’t have your CDL-A yet? If you terminate employment after 12 months but before 24 months, you are required to repay 50% of the sign-on bonus. The sign-on bonus will be paid in accordance with the Company’s payroll procedures on the normal payroll date following 30 days of your continuous employment. Current XPO employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.nnA $2,000 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment with XPO in their current qualified position. Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 12 months of continuous employment in their current qualified position will receive another $1,000 bonus. The bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. All other rules g overning this program will apply. Current XPO employees are not eligible for retention bonuses.
