Then deliver the eggs to the warehouse or hatchery as directed.nnPrincipal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesnnEnsures timely and accurate delivery of eggs according to dispatcher scheduling.nnPerforms a pre-trip truck inspection according to a DOT sheet, reporting any deficiencies to proper fleet mechanics.nnEnsures accurate recordkeeping of fuel purchases, trip tickets, daily logs and time sheets.nnMinimum EducationnnHigh School or equivalentnnExperience Requirementsnn2 years experience. Reading, writing and math skills. Class A Commercial driver's license required.nnExperience PreferrednnEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsnnExposed to both seasonal weather and climate controlled conditions. Ability to climb truck in the loading areas; use #5 sledgehammer. Operate loading and delivery devices. Operate a standard manual truck for up to 10 hours. Operate a forklift. Exposed to significant amount of air borne dust. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
