It just happens to be that corrugated products are our area of expertise.nnRESPONSIBILITIES:nnPerform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems on all plant manufacturing and support equipment.nnWork as part of a team in a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.nnFollow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.nnWork with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.nnBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:nnMinimum 1 year of experience successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.nnProper general maintenance and troubleshooting practices or technical training.nnDemonstrated ability to read equipment instruction manuals; align equipment to specified tolerances; machine and fitting shop knowledge.nnTroubleshooting and repair of mechanical and/or electrical equipment experience including pumps, gearboxes, fans and agitators.nnKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.nnMust have good interpersonal skills, excellent planning and organizing skills, ability to work independently, and a high degree of self-motivation.nnMust be willing to pursue ongoing technical training to enhance capabilities.nnAbility to work overtime, and weekends as needed.nnMust be authorized to work in the U.S.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nnGood computer skills.nnBe passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.nnMust provide own basic tools. PCA will provide specialized tools.nnPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:nn2 to 5 years of practical application experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, steam and pneumatic maintenance functions.nnTechnical degree and/or comparable experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and equipment; particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry Electrical competency.nnBasic computer skills for diagnostic equipment.nnKnowledge of working, troubleshooting and programming of PLCs.nn2+ years of experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and/or technical degree in related field.nnExperience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the corrugated or packaging industry.nnKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:nnAbility to work safely in a fast-paced environment.nnMust be able to acquire and/or retain a multi-craft skill set.
