Responsibilities:

n- Welcome customers promptly and gather necessary vehicle information.
n- Facilitate clear communication between customers and technicians to ensure understanding of services provided.
n- Keep customers updated with essential service information and timelines.
n- Verify warranty and service contracts accurately.
n- Prepare and process repair orders with detailed cost and symptom descriptions.
n- Advise customers on additional services and explain their benefits.
n- Oversee daily operations of the service department.
n- Manage and mentor a team of service technicians and advisors.
n- Schedule and delegate work assignments for efficient workflow.
n- Provide technical guidance and support on complex repairs.
n- Monitor and evaluate technician performance, offering constructive feedback.
n- Ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs.
n- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and service history.
n- Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
n- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies.
n- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Qualifications:
n
n- Proven experience as an Automotive/ Industrial Service Manager or similar role.
n- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
n- Proficient in sales techniques with exceptional customer service skills.
n- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic equipment is preferred.
n- Effective team leadership, task prioritization, and workflow management skills.
n- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
n- Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer.
n- Above-average phone and communication skills.
n- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
n- Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
n- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
n- Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles.
n- Excellent sales history and customer service record.
n- Ability to work well with existing staff members.
n- Valid driver’s license.
