Description HVAC Specialist
As an HVAC Specialist, you will be at the forefront of designing, quoting, and supporting HVAC systems for both residential and commercial projects. Your role will involve creating efficient and compliant system designs, preparing detailed quotations, and providing top-notch technical support to customers. You will collaborate closely with sales teams to secure new projects and ensure that all designs meet the latest industry standards and energy efficiency requirements. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Conduct detailed assessments of radiant floor heating and snow/ice melt systems for both existing and new construction HVAC projects.
- Collaborate with outside sales teams to secure new projects.
- Design and layout HVAC systems for residential and commercial projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for HVAC systems.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project specifications, energy efficiency, and client needs.
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in HVAC design.
- Ensure all HVAC designs meet environmental and energy efficiency standards.
Qualifications Qualifications - Associate's degree in HVAC Design-Service or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing HVAC systems for residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard design software.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality designs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
