The Laborer performs this work within an established time frame and ensures that this work is done in conformance with quality work standards, project man-hours, and in the established company guidelines and with regulatory compliance.nnCandidate will obtain on the job training while attending the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.nnResponsibilitiesnnSpecific Responsibilities: LaborernnMust be able to report to assigned job site location on time as directed.nnMaintain and properly store tools and equipment.nnProper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.nnAccurately organize materials and tools in order to maintain clean and neat work areas.nnThis position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Admin. Services Director.nnQualificationsnnRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications for LaborernnEducation, Experience, and Qualifications:nnMust work smoothly with others as a member of a team to complete tasks.nnAbility to work 10 hours per day, night shift, 40 hours per week and overtime as required with little or on short notice.nnClearly understand and comply with Company / Job Safety Requirements (OSHA).nnAbility to add, subtract, divide and use formulas accurately.nnWork in restrictive / tight areas. (i.e. switchgear rooms, crawl spaces, utility tunnels, etc.)nnMust be capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or equipment.nnAccurately read labels, job site maps / direction and manuals and written instructions.nnAbility to visualize completed work prior to installation.nnMust have ability and knowledge to properly give hand signals to operators.nnKnowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements.nnMust have a valid driver's license.nnEffective verbal and written communication skills.nnDetail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.nnExcellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.nnPreferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications:nnHigh School Diploma or GED.nnTravel Requirements:nnAs required by job assignment.nnPhysical/Work Environment Requirements:nnAscending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.nnMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.nnMust be able to utilize provided construction site sanitary facilities.
