Job Description

Job Overview:nnAs a maintenance technician associate, you are a pillar supporting the operation at our properties. The team ensures that all mechanical systems and equipment at the building are operational and properly maintained. Additionally, our team members are attentive and diligently work to ensure that all common areas are maintained in both an aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition. ?nnYour Responsibilities:nnPerforms routine walking inspections of floors in order to identify problems and report them to supervisors.?nMaintains work equipment in good working condition. ?nPerforms maintenance repairs in the common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general ?nEnsures all safety precautions are followed while performing work. ?nWhile following safety procedures, performs casual labor (e.g., such as moving heavy items) as directed by supervisors. ?nPerforms maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required to conduct the job.nMust be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.nOther duties as needed.nnSkills & Qualifications:nnCritical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.nAbility to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.nPossess strong maintenance and repair skills, painting, carpentry, plumbing and electricity.nnPhysical Requirements:nnAbility to lift up to 50lbs following appropriate safety procedures.nAbility to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functionsnAbility to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.nAbility to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingersnnSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; weekends when needednnWhat We Offer:nnAs a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision.
