Rize Credit Union is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our Real Estate Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the mortgage loan process from application through funding, ensuring timely and compliant processing.

• Verify and explain regulatory loan disclosures, ensuring all stipulations are met.

• Collaborate with underwriters and applicants to gather necessary documentation, such as income verification, credit reports, and property evaluations.

• Provide regular updates to applicants, escrow agents, and real estate agents to ensure clear communication throughout the loan process.

• Review and analyze all loan documentation, including appraisals, titles, insurance forms, and more.

• Coordinate funding activities with settlement agents and manage the loan pipeline.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including TILA-RESPA, ECOA, and HMDA.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience processing first mortgage loans for a bank, credit union, or mortgage company.

• Strong understanding of real estate regulations, including Truth in Lending, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act.

• Experience with FHA and VA loans is preferred.

• High school diploma required.

• Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
