Job Title: Maintenance TechniciannnJob DescriptionnnThe day-to-day responsibilities will focus on machine installations and setup of highly automated equipment, including controls, automation, and electrical systems. The role will involve supporting and providing ongoing preventive, planned, and unplanned maintenance on production equipment within the assigned plant areas once installations are complete.nnResponsibilitiesnnOversee new equipment installation, setup, modification, and repair to ensure machines and equipment are functioning according to OEM specifications.nnWork with outside contractors as needed to identify and resolve equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and investigate equipment failures to diagnose faulty operations.nnInspect and check equipment for proper operating conditions, make necessary adjustments, log test readings, and maintain, repair, or replace equipment parts.nnMaintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.nnPerform preventative maintenance, calibration of equipment and systems, and necessary repairs or reworks to meet and maintain specifications and tolerances.nnEssential SkillsnnExperience in Industrial Maintenance with an emphasis on electrical controls.nnIntermediate knowledge of PLC programming, robotics, and vision controls.nnIntermediate knowledge of Electrical Theory for AC/DC circuits and Motor Controls (VFD, Servo).nnFundamental understanding of mechanical maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics.nnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnAbility to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.nnAbility to connect wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice wire.nnAbility to replace or repair belts, chains, or cables on machinery.nnAbility to align, fit, and assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates, with the potential to operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, and fixtures.nnWork EnvironmentnnThis role is based in a massive, clean, climate-controlled battery manufacturing facility.
