With one of a kind, state of the art technology and equipment they produce high end engineered materials offering solutions for multiple industriennThe Plant Maintenance II will support the organizational achievement of safety, quality and productivity goals by designing, fabricating and maintaining production and various related manufacturing equipment, and facilities.nnDuties/Responsibilities:nnMaintains and repairs manufacturing equipment and facilities using knowledge of mechanical electrical, and pneumatic systems, welding, machining, and pipe fitting trades to assure optimal operation Utilizes CAD/CAM to design and or program manufacturing equipment Designs and fabricates custom equipment to improve quality, reduce labor and increase profitability Supports customer service and manufacturing productivity goals by minimizing downtime through completion of preventative maintenance to recognize and remediate problems Cooperates with internal customers in a constructive fashion to encourage a positive team environment Maintains and organizes machine and maintenance data so that it can be used by others Interacts with vendors and suppliers to source materials and supervise repairs Promotes quality improvements and provides training when required Demonstrates leadership in attendance, work ethic, positive attitude toward change, and overall company goals Other duties as assignednnKnowledge and Skills Requirednn7-10 years' journeyman level related experience and/or training, and/or demonstrated ability Proficient in pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical machine systems troubleshooting and repair; must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools; must be proficient in one or more trades; must understand basic machine design.
