Job Summary - Responsible for daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment.nnEssential FunctionsnnPerform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs in order to ensure that all equipment continues to run effectively and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably.nnTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, electrical and electronic equipment.nnInstall, assemble, rebuild and repair all types of equipment and support all facilities infrastructure.nnInspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.nnParticipate in projects and planning events. Interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities. Use Computer Maintenance Management System.nnResponsible for identifying, specifying and using spare and replacement parts.nnParticipate, lead and actively support all necessary training, EHS, Human Performance, and company or department objectives.nnThis position requires availability for shift and weekend work. Holiday and emergency coverage are also required.nnBasic QualificationsnnHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.nn3 years of maintenance technician experience.nnEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.nnThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.nnPreferred QualificationsnnHave at least 3+ years maintenance experience with PLC Systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical repair.nnFormal PLC training and/or extensive hands on PLC experience.nnExperience in ultra high vacuum systems is an asset.nnExperience with man lifts (scissor and boom) and forklifts is an asset.nnMust possess reading, writing, and basic math skills.nnUnderstand precision measuring instruments, electrical or electronic testing devices, drawings and schematics, equipment user manuals, activity and task instructions.nnBasic computer skills required.
