Our manufacturing client has an opening for a Customer Order Representative. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and processing orders. Your primary responsibilities will include data entry, order management, and communicating essential information about order status, lead times, shipping details, and inventory levels.
Responsibilities - Answer incoming customer inquiries about order status, shipping, lead times, inventory levels, and more via phone, fax, or email.
- Process and enter all orders into the company computer system accurately.
- Handle order changes, returns, and other customer requests efficiently.
- Relay order-related information to customers, including pricing issues and any factors affecting their order.
- Direct customer questions to the appropriate sales associate (inside or outside) when necessary.
Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
- Reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work independently once trained.
