YesnnREPORTS TO: Branch ManagernnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Snow Plow/Salt Truck driver clears snow via plowing, and/or applies salt via mechanical spreader.nnRelays all information to supervisor as required.nnAbility to properly apply salt to sites on route if hired for Salt DrivernnAbility to properly plow & maintain designated sitesnnAbility to work extended periods without direct supervisionnnApplying salt and or shoveling by hand if applicablennAbility to make minor repairs to equipment onsitennAssist to complete all paperwork thoroughly and accuratelynnAbility to use and operate a smartphone for winter logs if applicablennKeep truck and equipment in clean and operating ordernnProficient in operating snow removal machinerynnMaintaining effective communication throughout the snow event.nnADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR EXPERIENCE:nnChauffeur’s License for under CDL class trucks.nnCommercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) for larger trucks only.nnMDOT Medical Clearance Card.nnClean driving historynnMust be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening if applicablennDays and hours of work can vary depending on snow fall, will need to be available on an on-call basis.nnOperational knowledge of snow plow and removal practices, and equipment maintenance and repair procedures.nnEDUCATION: Preferred education level is a High School Diploma or G.E.D.nnEXPERIENCE: Previous experience is preferred but not required.nnCOMPUTER SKILLS: Not applicable.
