Driver, Luggage Van Department: Transportation

Responsibilities - Performs a variety of luggage handling and driving tasks.
- Routinely drives a 15-passenger van; applies knowledge of the area to drive employees to a pre-determined location.
- Routinely loads and unloads luggage from trucks, motorcoaches, and luggage vans at our various properties and the airport.
- Organize, sort, tally, tag, and label guest luggage daily.
- Assists with misplaced and damaged luggage.
- Performs basic mechanical duties.
- Communicates frequently with supervisors and other team members via radio for updates, requests, or concerns.
- Participates in HAP's sustainability program, aka "Sustain Alaska & the Yukon", and efforts by actively recycling (where available), reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
- Participate in HAP's safety culture to ensure a safe workplace for all team members and a safe vacation experience for all guests.
Requirements - Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Current valid driver's license with clean driving record. (Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested).
- Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
- Minimum age of 18 is required.
- Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds regularly, sometimes above head level.

- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princes s is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, maintain an attention to detail and accuracy, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds regularly, sometimes above head level.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, employees, and management.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
