SUMMARY Come join our team at the facility where we are building and testing rockets as Facilities HVAC Technician III. As the Facilities HVAC Technician III will perform preventative & and reactive service on HVAC equipment (package units, spilt-systems) and at times, install HVAC systems or insight for vendor installation.) This role will assist other facilities' trades with projects and repairs if necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate with the internal facilities department and contractors for cross-support.
- Assist in various departments and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Support all HVAC functions at various Texas sites.
QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS Required: - 5-10 years of installation of RTUs & spilt-systems & duct layouts configuration
- 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems & Refrigeration maintenance.
- Senior troubleshooter of HVAC systems and Refrigeration systems schematics for operations and repair.
- EPA universal certification is required.
- Be able to work independently.
- Strong communicator

- Expert troubleshooter on HVAC and refrigeration systems and control systems ranging from 5 tons to 100 tons.
- Plumbing experience is a plus.
- Vacuum pump system experience and (CDA) compressed air systems.
- Experience with BAS (Building Automation System) troubleshooting.
- Strong communicator, with a customer-obsessed mindset.
- Ability to operate and handle machinery (forklift, scissor lift, bulldozer, skid steer, etc.), equipment, and tools necessary for maintenance and repair.
- Must be well organized, and keep accurate service and maintenance records
- Maintain a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning assembly and material-handling equipment or the facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with co-workers, vendors, and people with various professional backgrounds.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; climb and carry ladders and work with hand and power tools.
